My second time visited to Kota Kinabalu

It's a beautiful place you must visit... if you like nature...

Mountain, greenie farm, sun, sea beach

I love nature, nature is beautiful~

Mt Kinabalu hided behind the thick cloud...

A close contact with flora and fauna in the forest

Welcome to Desa Dairy Farm, Mersilau

I love much, clean beach + blue sky + crystal clear sea...

Awesome sunset viewable from Marina Court Promenade

I have had a merry trip with my fantastic buddies

Personally, I love Kota Kinabalu

Wondermilk

Wondermilk looks unique, special



I heard the specialty of this cafe is their cupcakes

Yet, i personally like the sandwiches here rather than the cupcakes

Cupcakes from my colleague's wife taste better, haha

No doubt, this is a good place for chit-chat

good environment, but I do hope the foods here have further improvement.

Sunday Out ~ Coliseum

Sunday, it's a day out at KL city

We came to this old restaurant for our late lunch

Coliseum, have been existed in the city since 1921

First time I came to this restaurant, no young waiters work here
All are old men and old ladies, their service standard still stop at the 70s 80s

But we all were being tolerate with them... No complain...

Foods served here quite pricey but still ok in terms of yummylicious

Their famous dishes here are the sizzling steak/chop

Serving is big, filling our stomach

I think it's a norm of pictures taking anywhere for anything from anyone of us

Shiok Sendiri

Saturday, a 'shiok sendiri' day for Teresa and me, Do you know what's the meaning of 'shiok sendiri'? 

'Shiok' is commonly used in Malaysia, it essentially is used to convey a feeling of sheer pleasure and happiness

'Sendiri' is own-self. So in short having fun on ourselves :) 

We bought the on-line deal, manicure + padicure

So, today we were going for the deal before the it get expired.

The shop doesn't gave us the impressive good service

The manicurist was having her own personality which I found her...

yet to know how to work in the service industry... 

But, she does have good skill on the manicure and padicure

Emmm, not complaining here...

We did have our happy leisure time, experiencing the pretty on our nails and toes!

Feeling shiok... :)

Golden Palm Tree

It's pricey to stay in this resort

Yet, I have had a night stay here

I would say, worth to stay in for once in a lifetime

This is a beautiful resort, Golden Palm Tree at Sepang Gold Coast

While I was there, it was the resort soft launching... [Jan 2011]

So the room is new, clean, comfy,

the resort staff is friendly, helpful

the resort is clean and quiet

the resort is with different dining options available for guests to pick

the resort is having its own private beach , Smile Beach

the resort provide free usage of facilities like water sports and cycling

the resort present the night performance to the guests at night time

Conclusion is: I have a good rest and relax stay at the resort

If I have got some extra money to spend, I will come back to here again :)

Tanjung Sepat Day Out

A day out to Tangjung Sepat with good friends for makan-makan & jalan jalan 

Started the journey at 8am, and reached the small town at almost 10am

That day was a day without sun-shine, so it's not too hot for us to walk around in the small town.

No sunshine, only gray blueish sky

Came to a shop selling coffee powder with their homemade blended coffee beans

The shop just next to the famous Pau Shop, Hai Yew Heng

The flour doughs for the Paus (Kind of Chinese Bun)

The famous one at Tanjung Sepat, Hai Yew Heng.

 

Visited to the outlet selling Ling Zi and other kinds of fungus/mushrooms

Yummy bak kut teh with seafoods, porks, and pepper soup with fish paste
That's our breakie, famous one in Tanjung Sepat, Yikee
We were con by an uncle when we're locating for this restaurant
Finally we found Yikee, and saw the uncle was sitting there having his bak kut teh
He even knotted his head to me when he saw me, I was so wondering and wanted to ask...
"Uncle, why con us to round and round the town to look for Yikee?" Why I wanna ask so, as the Yikee is opposite the location where we asked for direction of Yikee earlier with the uncle, piang~

Another reason we failed to look for Yikee, as was getting the address of Yikee from online wrongly.

It's located at Jalan Pasar, NOT Jalan Besar.
 

Before heading back to KL, we have the seafood lunch near to the Lover's Bridge

Yummy, fresh and was with a good reasonable price

Crab with mee-hoon, fried butter sotong, stir fried vege, fried soft bone fishes, Lala soup and Tofu soup, plus tea, all in with RM143 for 11 persons of us!

Reggae Bar

Some day back last 2 weeks, I was at Reggae Bar @ Jalan Tun H.S. Lee
Have had 2 pool games in the bar. Like the bar atmosphere at the day time without people clouds & ciggy smoke smells. Tho' the bar was bit old, but still maintain well.
Quite love the wall in the bar, with the hand-drawing & hand-writing from their customers.

Beautiful Malacca

Malacca ~ the oldest city in our country

Also the historical city of us
After a havoc work schedules all these while... still much to come...
I took a break at this beautiful city...
Weather there was hot but windy...
Eat, Walk & Relax... It's instead a good weekend I have had!

No matter how busy with works... Take A Break, Take A Rocky...

And I found I love Rocky lately.

Poco Homemade Again...and Again... :p

Just happened pretty mama wanna go there for her green tea pudding

And happened to SaSa has something for us to advice
So, we came to Poco again :p

No worry, never feel boring with this place
This time, we managed to try out their homemade tofu cake

Another yummy one... you should try :)

P.S. Poco is getting better business now...

while we were leaving, the cafe was crowded with patrons... It's full house!
Gambatte... Poco!!!
