We love Cooking

 

Recently, we cut down eating out

We do cooking more, as we found home-cook food is more healthy

Why said so?

We know that the ingredient we cook is fresh and clean.

And there is no MSG added to the food.

Besides, it is more cost effective as compare to do dining outside.

Chef said, it's time to explore some Asian food recipe.

I am fine with any recipe, as good as it's delicious.

We love cooking. We enjoy home-cooked foods.

Alley Johns

What is Alley Johns? Where is Alley Johns?

Alley Johns is a little cafe at Kampar, with their specialty ~ crepes

Their crepes are different from the others

Not the crispy type, but is "soft and tender" type

Not fold in flat, but roll in as a cone

Try it and you will know it... :)

 

You can order a salty crepe, chicken teriyaki 

or a sweety crepe, strawberry cheesecake crepe

Both are so yummilicious!

oh ya, the owner told me another must-try crepe, chicken katsu crepe

I must go and try at my next visit.

More crepes to taste out, as there are plenty more choices of crepes found at the menu.

The coffee ~ dik dik coffee (the vietnamese coffee) is so good

Dessert egg custard is just done so well, delicious~

Taman Tasek Perdana, KL

 

Good to have exercise every weekend

Hill trek, jog in the park are the exercises I do during the weekend

Found another park to do the jogging other than the Kiara Park TTDI

It's Taman Tasek Perdana at KL

  

Big tall tree can be found everywhere in the park

 

Nice scenery found in the park, good for photograhy

Different types of orchirds found in the park, and it's now orchird blooming season in the park.

 

This is a park in the city, that providing the city people a good place for exercises

 The park also known as Lake Garden, where there's a lake found in the park

Zoo Negara

I have been to the zoo at my primary six

After so long, this was my second time here in the zoo

One thing I would say, Zoo Negara is not that bad

Just need to keep better maintenance works in the zoo

It's a good place for visit after all.

Decanter

I have read a lot of blogs mentioning about Decanter, on their american breakfast

Finally, we have the american breakfast here

Frankly, the omelette is very yummy, I picked with add-on with turkey ham

the little cup of macchiato is able to fill up my caffeine addiction

What a good place for a good breakfast at the Saturday morning!

There are few outlets of Decanter in Klang Valley

Decanter PJ didn't serve breakfast, so we came to Decanter @ Jalan SetiaKasih 5

Breakfast served here from 7:30am to 11:00am

Remember the time, as not to miss the yummy breakfast :)

I am using one!

I finally found one good leather case for my phone that I like!

The casing is holding the phone with a good quality detachable tape.

When there is an incoming call, I don't need to un-flip the case,

just look for who's calling and slide to answer the call, it's so convenient!

It looks so stylish and profession for the working adult like me~

Yummylicious Again~

Tonkatsu at Level 6 Pavilion serves nice porky meal

I have my set of Buta Shogayaki Zen (RM26) with fried of pork belly

and miso soup + rice + beancurd + vege salad

The pork belly wasn't too fat, it's just nice to be chewed!

Another need to be mentioned, is their in-house sauce mix with sesame

to deep in with the pork belly... oh, it's yummy!

Took the best nasi lemak in PJ Uptown with cousins, what a sumptuos lunch we have had!

Having Thai meal at SS2 with cousin, the tom yam spice up our appetite!

Dim sum dinner with brother at Damansara Jaya,, not a bad one~

My own homecook, fried shrimp with tomato sauce... yummy!

Bone and Pot, highly recommended by my cousins

Yes, they serve nice broth, fresh ingredients for the steamboat

We have ordered the mixed broth pot, with big pork bone + pepper pig-stomach

I like the fresh meat balls, sotong balls, pork slices, chicken slices with mushroom

Oh, what a hot and spicy meal for the night!

Eat, is a way to enjoy life to me. How about you?

Souvenirs from Korea

after practicing her internship over there!

Elcerdo

We were having a porky feast at Elcerdo last month

It's just a dinner gathering for the company staff together with our boss coming from Ireland

Foods served in this restaurant are yummy, delicious and in big portion

We have ordered their famous deep fried pork knuckles, roasted suckling pig, 

combo sausages, pork ribs, plus the house's red wine... that's making a great dinner for the night!

To eat the roasted suckling pig, there started with the story telling and culture practice from Spain by the waitress to us,

First, cut the roasted suckling pig by plates into 6 portions by 3 persons,

it show how tender is the roasted pork meat

After cutting, there's follow with smashing away the plates into a wooden bail

Plates were smashed away as the Spanish people believe those plates brought away bad lucks

That's one of the special event found in the restaurant, where you can hear the noises of smashing plates. 

A yummy porky feast cost us a billing of above MYR1K plus

Boss was paying for the bill, Thank you for such a good meal to us!

Yummy Pork @ Sanbanto

Sanbanto, is a restaurant selling yummy pork dishes

Sanbanto, is also a shop selling fresh pork 

The restaurant decoration is simple, modern, comfy

There's a special partition in the middle of the restaurant, 

and is selling all kinds of fresh porks in this partition

Nothing much to talk about the drink, we just ordered the hot lime water

Think this is a FOC drink, didn't see it charged in the bill

This is a wonderful one, a pork burger highly recommended by my friend

Yes, this is a yummy pork burger!

It's layered with bacon, cucumber slices, tomato slices, cheese and a slice of minced pork

So tasty and yummy! It's a big burger filling my stomach.

Yet it's pricey, RM19.00 for a big burger + salad + potato fries

I was working so tensed lately, so I bought myself this yummy pricey lunch,

to help in release my tense, and be happy enjoying the meal.

Sanbanto found at Puchong IOI Boulevard, and SS2, near to the SS2 Wei Sek Gai

You like pork, can have a porky meal in Sanbanto!

Apple iPhone4

My iPhone3G  was robbed last week, so I am thinking what phone to buy..

HTC with Android? SE with Android? Nokia? 

Oh... all these not my choices, but Apple iPhone4

Gosh, i think i am poisoned with Apple iPhone!

Or should I say this better : "I am too in love with Apple iPhone!"

Butterfly ~ Stay Still, Shoot!

Heritage House Gopeng

There is another good place to visit while you visit to my hometown, Gopeng.

Heritage House Gopeng, sister muzium to Muzium Gopeng.

The House is more on showing the lifestyle of peoples at old times at Gopeng.

The House is located at the Jalan Sungai Itek (Wayang Lane), Gopeng.

It's in front of the roundabout in the town, not far from the Muzium Gopeng.

The House is painted in red, renovated and restructured back to old times.

The House is in wooden entirely, and filled with all kinds of antiques.

Furnitures, bikes, barber corner, old time kopitiam, entertainment corner

all found in this uniquely built house

Great atmosphere and ambiance in the House

We can see a lot of stuff that we have not seen before

I wonder how the collector managed to keep this much of antiques

Amazingly, the antiques are mostly function-able!

The House was well managed by Mr Phang, the person in charge of both muziums.

He is knowledgeable on the history of our town.

He shared much of old times story with us while we were there.

We were having great times in the House.

Posing for pictures, having fun among the cousin.

We all amazed with the setup of the House in the town.

It contributed a big effort in telling us, the younger generation about our hometown.

Free to drop by my hometown for a visit on the muziums

and there're great places for adventurers, natural lovers to come by... 

for water rafting, jungle tracking, a rest and relax stay in the resort in the jungle.

I love Gopeng, my lovely hometown!

It's pricey to stay in this resort

Yet, I have had a night stay here

I would say, worth to stay in for once in a lifetime

This is a beautiful resort, Golden Palm Tree at Sepang Gold Coast

While I was there, it was the resort soft launching... [Jan 2011]

So the room is new, clean, comfy,

the resort staff is friendly, helpful

the resort is clean and quiet

the resort is with different dining options available for guests to pick

the resort is having its own private beach , Smile Beach

the resort provide free usage of facilities like water sports and cycling

the resort present the night performance to the guests at night time

Conclusion is: I have a good rest and relax stay at the resort

If I have got some extra money to spend, I will come back to here again :)

Dec Is A Shopping Month

Cousin came visit last weekend, we shopped.

Sis is back this weekend, we shopped.

Xmas dinner with friends is coming, I shopped for gift.

Xmas is coming soon, New Year is coming soon too.

Following this will be Lunar New Year...

So it's a norm for me... Dec is a shopping month for me.

Candies & Snacks

Friend back from Taiwan trip has brought me the candies and snacks...

Like the yam(taro), sweet potato mo-chi, taste so nice!

And the pineapple cake... yum yum!

I want to go Taiwan... I want to go Taiwan... I want to go Taiwan...

Hahaha... next year's plan is to Beijing, so Taiwan should be planned for 2012...

Similarity

I found a similarity on the buildings of Chinese Temple and Hindu Temple

There always decorate with mythological figures, animals and flowers in colored glass and porcelain

The one who built all these should be someone very detail, specific and with sharp eyesight 

and also good in coloring, paste and match.
