Heritage House Gopeng

There is another good place to visit while you visit to my hometown, Gopeng.
Heritage House Gopeng, sister muzium to Muzium Gopeng.
The House is more on showing the lifestyle of peoples at old times at Gopeng.
The House is located at the Jalan Sungai Itek (Wayang Lane), Gopeng.
It's in front of the roundabout in the town, not far from the Muzium Gopeng.

The House is painted in red, renovated and restructured back to old times.
The House is in wooden entirely, and filled with all kinds of antiques.
Furnitures, bikes, barber corner, old time kopitiam, entertainment corner
all found in this uniquely built house
Great atmosphere and ambiance in the House
We can see a lot of stuff that we have not seen before
I wonder how the collector managed to keep this much of antiques
Amazingly, the antiques are mostly function-able!
The House was well managed by Mr Phang, the person in charge of both muziums.
He is knowledgeable on the history of our town.
He shared much of old times story with us while we were there.
We were having great times in the House.
Posing for pictures, having fun among the cousin.
We all amazed with the setup of the House in the town.
It contributed a big effort in telling us, the younger generation about our hometown.

Free to drop by my hometown for a visit on the muziums
and there're great places for adventurers, natural lovers to come by...
for water rafting, jungle tracking, a rest and relax stay in the resort in the jungle.

I love Gopeng, my lovely hometown!

My Condolence to the Tsunami Victims

What happened to the mother earth? I walked out from my meeting at customer's place, and i saw this message from my friend, 'Japan hit by tsunami'. Well... I was thinking it's a nothing big deal one. I continued driving home, called my friend and asked about the tsunami! Oh gosh! It's a horrible! I started sourcing the news online... I was so shock and sad to see this happened to the beautiful country, Japan! And there are many aftershocks coming along to attack other countries in the earth! Alerts of tsunami are every where..New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Hawaii and others. Waves expected over the next few hours, caused by the 8.9 earthquake in Japan.

As a human, I am sad to see all these happened to the earth. What really can we do? I know we can't escape from the natural disasters, but at least we should do something to help in prevent the disasters caused by human. My condolence to the tsunami victims, and praying hard that God will bless everyone in the earth a safe stay after all.

Happy Go Lucky!

How to stay happy and lucky? I always say that I am a happy go lucky person, am I really the one? How you think?

I read an email from my friend, and I found the content of the mail do match with how I think about my life is at currently ~

Here it goes...

1. Throw out non-essential matter and numbers... Do think for yourself how serious is the matter bother you, always set the priority in your heart. As of the age, always keeps young at heart.

2. Share out your thoughts with family and friends, either it be the happiness or bitterness. A happy person loves to share!

3. Keep learning, keep yourself contented with knowledge and experiences! keep your mind busy at one time and rest at the right time!

4. Enjoy the simple life, the simplest the better!

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. I always do this!

6. The tears happen; Endure, grieve and move on. The only person who is with our entire life, is ourselves. LIVE LIFE to FULLEST while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love; whether it's the family, pets, friends, memories, music, plants,  movies, hobbies or whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health. If it's good, preserve it. If it's unstable, improve it. If it's beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Do things right, be responsible and take accountability on what you do. Should you found yourself in fault, say sorry and don't repeat the same mistake again.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

I am practicing the above. I think I'm having the answer on the question I posted above. Yes, I am a happy go lucky person... Cheers all!

Beautiful Historical City

Old Houses at Late Evening

Malacca River towards the Sea

Old Church near Malacca River

Best Chicken Rice Ball

When you are in Malacca, you will think of chicken rice ball
the unique one found originally there
I came to this, I called it the best chicken rice ball in Malacca
Kedai Kopi Chung Wah, located at the front of Jonker Street,
opposite Sam Suk Gong and near to the Malacca River
You will see peoples waiting outside the restaurant in a queue
Don't worry about the long queue, join the queue
waited for few minutes for your turn
You won't regret on waiting for this yummy chicken rice!

The chicken meat was so juicy and tender
The taste is just nice, not too oily... with the restaurant's own recipe

The rice was cooked with steam chicken leftover gravy
and was made into the ball shape, it was so soft when on bite

Taste Delicious, Price Reasonable, A must try in Malacca!
I miss it now ^.^

Golden Palm Tree

It's pricey to stay in this resort
Yet, I have had a night stay here
I would say, worth to stay in for once in a lifetime
This is a beautiful resort, Golden Palm Tree at Sepang Gold Coast
While I was there, it was the resort soft launching... [Jan 2011]
So the room is new, clean, comfy,
the resort staff is friendly, helpful
the resort is clean and quiet
the resort is with different dining options available for guests to pick
the resort is having its own private beach , Smile Beach
the resort provide free usage of facilities like water sports and cycling
the resort present the night performance to the guests at night time

Conclusion is: I have a good rest and relax stay at the resort
If I have got some extra money to spend, I will come back to here again :)

Interested to book one for yourself?
You may goto here to look for one yourself; Happy Holiday :)

Good Gathering

Good gathering took place last Friday
At Hokkaido, The Garden
Foods served were nice, but not better than Rakuzen
(purely my personal opinion)
Price was above Zanmai Sushi, same with Rakuzen
so I still prefer Zanmai and Rakuzen :p
But it's not a bad choice for dinner tho'

After dinner, we went for another dessert at Alexis
though we have had ice-creams at Hokkaido
Just that we all missed the Tiramisu at Alexis
I would say this 'Tiramisu of Alexis is the best one in town!'

Great friends of the night, KK, Teresa and Elena
We talked about everything...
It's a good gathering for the night
Enjoyed a lot~

Steamboat ~ Xiao Fei Yang

It was raining on that day,
we were rounding here and there looking for our dinner.
We came to Uptown, decided to have steamboat for our dinner.
The restaurant looked so simple from outside,
once we stepped in, it's almost full-house.

Herb Soup base, all ingredients for the steamboat were on ala-carte order
fresh ingredient, hot pot of herb soup, cool weather...
made up a yummy dinner for us! We were so bloody full on that night! :p
