Suck and Embarrass

Works didn't come out a good one, but a suck and embarrass one. All these happened last week. Early of the week, user acceptance tests done to the system is not too bad! Got the feedbacks and get the system fine-tuned. Mid of the week, moving system to customer's server, planned for system training, worked till midnight 0230 for all these last minute works! What the heck was... the system was appeared with so many bloody runtime errors while I was conducting the training in a class with 30-40 class audiences. What an embarrassing one! Customer kept asking me why, why and why! So suck!

I have been in this industry for so many years, I have never do a training like this! A training with all kinds of errors and instabilities. How the technical teams of my co. did the works, it's raised me a big wonder! Everything was made last minutes, deployed without testing thoroughly, deployed with no standard which the codes can be easily overwritten by the old codes, and by last minutes only I can have the right system screens captured in my training manual before the day I started my training! How can I work in such co. with such standard of works!

My customer can see how tension were me in the training. Are those working in office, knowing how tension were me in front of the customers in the training class??? I was the presenter to present the training to the customers, but the system was just too far away from what meant to be presented. I told my boss, my team... the system is not acceptable and not ready to go live! What a suck one I have gone through at last week.

Yesterday, I did the QC and testing to the system again, yet there are still a list of changes need to be applied. Team, can you all do your works consistently? I think I need to walk my way out soon... It's enough!
